Customised Training

Selecting the very best project management software and hardware tools for your organisation is just the beginning. Once selected, the system must be installed and configured to comply with your best practices and methodologies and then your staff must be trained to use the systems efficiently and successfully. In order to achieve the maximum benefit from the investment it is crucial that appropriate training is made to all those that will be using the system.

Training Experts

We've trained thousands of customers over the past twenty years. As a trusted Oracle Primavera Platinum partner, Milestone holds the Oracle University status, and we are an approved Oracle approved Education Centre and Oracle Education Reseller. All of our Oracle Primavera courses are delivered to ISO 9001 quality standards and use Oracle trained Primavera consultants who have extensive planning, project management, implementation and integration experience.

A range of courses

We run regular public courses on Oracle Primavera packages at our specialist training centres in London and Aberdeen. We also provide training for clients on a private basis that can be customised to your specific needs. We can undertake this project management training at our centre or on-site – if equipment is needed (e.g.laptop computers) we can also cater for that.

What do we deliver?

Oracle University training on Primavera is usually held using the solution itself. However, as part of the implementation process we can support organisations in the development of workshop-type training for occasional users. The training schedule would depend on the end users' roles and requirements. It is normal for us to train the core team using formal OU training courses to ensure that they have a full understanding of the application to support the design phase. Depending on planned deployment, the wider user community could be trained with further OU courses, either in full or abbreviated, or by using in-house material developed during the implementation. A delivery engine for this approach could be the UPK*. Typically, abbreviated OU courses or customer training would be developed for different user roles, for example: Management/Stakeholder; Programme Manager/Portfolio Managers; Project Managers/Business Analysts; Resource Managers; Team Members.

Immediate benefits

Primavera has extensive context-based help files and in-built tutorials. OU training courses provide each delegate with an eKit containing relevant reference manuals to the course being attended. Custom courses can be tailored more accurately to the organisation's processes. Where UPK is also deployed users are able to run through the course on demand to assist with information retention.
